Anyone heard of people having trouble with there pistons??

It seems like your intake could have messed up the reading on the MAF, causing you to run too lean, without you knowing about it ....
Evoego you keep saying has to pay for it but it seems like you have done things to your car that may have voided your warranty .... I think it is going to be an uphill battle on this one ...

that is quite a few people with piston issues

My friend that I mentioned above only had about 17-18k on his car.

I was running rich I'm for sure, you could smell it, Always put 93 in a couple of times I put 92 in but mostly 93!
Did it crack down the center along the piston pin?
