The southflorida sun is really messing up my paint, ive waxed the car about 5 times since i bought it, may 31st 2003, but its starting to look pink, u could see the trunk with lighter spots the roof and the hood ... Will mitsu waranty taake care of this or will i have to repaint my car? Anyone else with the same problem?
The car is A Rally red evo8 2003.

03 and already fading paint! I'm pretty sure the 5 year bumper to bumper (not sure if it's 3 or 5 or 10) warranty takes care of that. I would take it to a dealer asap and have them work on it! Some people around here got their brembo repainted under warranty because the paint was peeling. I'm sure they'll take care of your car's paint. damn... that's crazy.. already fading!

 

I''ll take pics tomorrow in daylight, but its kindda hard to tell from pictures, u could notice it while lookin at it from a certain angle, i'll try to get the most of it with the digi cam , i'll take it by the dealer tomorrow n see what they say

 

wish you luck! if it's hard to see the dealer might be iffy about "seeing" it them selves.. most likly gonna be like "Looks good" , hope that don't happen!

 

My brembos paint are completely gone, i went to the dealer for that and they are going to replace them, but im still waiting for them to call me back, as i heard theire on back order

 

its only hard to see in pictures, the roof is the most noticeable, but u'll have to be standing next to the car . My last warranty job was the carbon fiber wing, it turned yellow and they were pretty cool about it everything went smooth, im hoping they'll help me out on this one.

gay. My Silver is faded too. I got one side repainted and u can sorta tell.

 

U had to do it on ur own or mitsu did it?

yeah i have a spot on my paint that is fadding as well as the brembo problem and the carbon fiber in my spoiler is all messed up aswell.

 

My carbon fiber wing turned yellow, the dealer changed it. same thing happened to a ffiend of mine, go to the dealer it should be covered.
