haha the reason the shift knob is actually there is because it was press release/dealer day, before the show went public, car feels very solid, gears feel unmissable thanks to tripple syncros...

I sat in the car and played around with the gears. Since the car wasnt moving, the most I can say is that the shifting was very solid and the throws were short. I was impressed with the overall feel of it.
I agree with iodine, there's no way to tell how the synchros work if the car isnt running.

one other sales guy, and the fleet manager who has been at this particular dealer for 12 years, the owner, and the gm all flew down, lots of fun, thanks for the cheery comment ben, car was started, and noon tommorrow i go to the lancer meeting, HOPING it will be there too, will report back after....
