It looks like I might have a Transfer Case problem with only 18K miles and only an ACT clutch and K&N air filter.

Lets see if this is a problem with the evo in general or just my bad luck.

 

Whats wrong with it? How do you know its the TC? More feedback!!

 

How do you drive? do you launch frequently...or ever..? Im just at about 20k miles, stock clutch, i dont drive easy, but never launched, slipped the clutch maybe 1 or 2 times at 3k rpms. Also what kind of fluid have you put into it? <------ this may be a big concern.

 

My t-case keeps leaking, my first one dried up and fused up on the damn highway (it was scary). Got a new one under warranty and that one leaks too (i've had it repaired 3 times to fix the leak at the dealership and it still leaks). I'm starting to think maybe something is wrong with that tranny to cause the T-case to leak.

Anyone have this kinda problem?

 

really wasnt the TC it was actually the Front Diff that went out. 47000miles or so

 

DC Silver, what did that sound like when the diff went?
