The coils and the AEM CD2I box was around $680, and the labor was done by my friend and I. we have about 30 hours of work on it plus the wires where $75, the aluminum plates with croming ran about $450 plus the bolts..

Yes that is correct !!!!!! plus all the time and labor. The HKS or the CD2I system for the Evo 8 is around $800 dollars without install

So you could have bought the switzer ignition that buschur sells for cheaper? Not to mention it's plug and play.

That is correct but i wanted to go with a single coil system since i will be runnign more boost soon!!!! the looks was just extra since i will be entering Comp.

It looks damn good. I am part of the big turbo crew too and I am currently looking into my ignition options. Are you running ems or stock ecu?

I am running the aem too. Were you having problems with the ignition system or did you just do it because you will be running more boost in the near future?
