it does datalogging, egt reading, sensors check, wideband.

What can this do that the M500 can't?
Wouldn't the M500 hooked up to a laptop do all that the R500 can do?

the m-500 you need the labtop hooked up to datalog. R-500 you don't

I'm going to order the R-500.......with a littlehelp i think this thing is going to rock

 

The R500 is state of the art design by PLX, it can monitor your EGT, AFR, Knock, boost...etc and it can datelog for 80mins. The best thing is you can update the firmware for free whenever PLX engineers add more features to the control unit. Also, I talk to the engineers everyday therefore I get real time tech support whenever you guys have any question.
