I live in Delray and drive to Miami to take it to TAV racing. Older guy (Gus) runs the store and he is excellent. He races his WRX in AutoX and wins. He knows his stuff and will never push you to do upgrades that are not needed. I am quite picky and have learnt a lot from him in the past two years.

 

anyone have any experiance with japtrix?

 

Roger at Japtrix is a nice guy they did some exhaust work for me when I first bought my Evo they did a good job. I do not know of any motors that they have built but I know he does not have a flowbench.

 

I've had REALLY good experiences with Dynamic Turbo in Doral, Florida (not too far from downtown Miami). The phone number is (305) 593-6160. Here's a LINK to their website. Don't be put off by the cheesy website...these guys really know their stuff!

We drove down all the way from Canada to Sebring to run the PBOC Winterfest. My transfer case died on the way down. Humberto (the owner) really came through for us in a big way despite a SERIOUS time crunch. Even though Dynamic Turbo specializes in turbo Supras and turbo Nissans, the techs are VERY knowledgeable about Evos. They were doing some work on a 400hp R33 Skyline GT-R and rebuilding the engine on a supercharged NSX while we were there.

I would seriously consider talking to them.

Ok Japtrix does good work - speak to Roger, tell him Ron with the red/black evo's sent you - he'll hook you up.

DONT have Twilight in Miami do any INSTALLS OR TUNING (trust me, I know first hand)
You can dyno there - there is also another AWD dyno in Tampa at some Subaru dealership.

Also stay away from TPS - Total Performance and Service (trust me, I know first hand!)
