Question Is a Piggy-Back the right next mod?

After installing a drop in filter, Greddy Profec B Spec II EBC, & a Greddy SP2 Catback, the next mod I'm looking at is the Greddy E-Manage and tune. Also, currently running 20psi on 93.

Any recomendations regarding this install and is this the right next mod? Everything else is stock. Should I be doing something else first? Will I feel a difference in the pickup with a good tune?

Thanks

Get an safcII( f the e-manage), downpipe to finish the exhaust( testpipe or hf cat),lower intercooler piping, you cant expect to bolt on parts and get a gain, tune the afc.

Not sure why you want the Greddy E-manage specifically, but yes, your next mod should be some sort of tuning device. I recommend either an ECU Flash or an S-AFC. I personally prefer the S-AFC route, but a flash is great for people who don't know how to tune with an S-AFC or who just want to have it done professionally and then forget about it.

I'm curious as to why you went with an expensive EBC (vice MBC) yet only did a cat-back. Our cars benefit the most from a TBE, so I would definitely agree with BigJ that you should complete the exhaust soon, unless you have a reaso not to. For instance, I plan on keeping my warranty in tact, so I am only going to do a cat-back. My local Mitsu service dept said a cat-back was fine, but not a TBE.

You should get quite a gain with some tuning on those mods, because at this point it is all raw power. With tuning, you will take all those mods and maximize their power potential all at once.

If your doing a boost controller, midaswell do a downpipe. They will try to void your warranty, but like sooooooo many previous threads, they cant unless that part caused the problem.....as said many times( magnuson& moss warranty act).An afc with a patch harness is better than a flash IMO for warranty purposes, just unplug that ***** and off to the dealership.

safc- $240.

datalogger-$120

wideband-$300+

total or $660.

with 660 more, you could get a EMS.

Or 2 custom flash tune.

but if you get it, you'll have more control over what you're doing and you'll be aware of it.

instead of someone flashing and giving you no feedback or tell you what they've done to you car, as far as timing , etc.
