Trip to the Nurburgring
Man that sounds sweet!!! I cant imagine what it would be like to drive a car around that legendary track.
Off topic, are you guys getting 7- 8+ minutes on the N-Ring in GT4 with stock MR's? That seems a bit low if not modded. My brother and I are doing time attack's against each other and we have been as fast as 6:34.493 in modded VIII GSR's. Just curious.

A must drive for any driving enthusiast.
If you don't have one yet get a copy of GT4 for the PS2. they have a very accurate map of The Ring (only a few bumps are different AFAICT). Awsome fun too with the added bonus of a reset button

Shame we can't play online
BTW the best way to learn The Ring for real is the BMW schools, they rent the whole track and you do 2k sections all the way around the track for two days plus lapping in the afternoon each day...all in M3s, it is fantastic.

Spent this past weekend (May 14/15) in Nurburg, Germany. I can sum it up best like this:
7 hour flight from Philly to London.
2 hour drive to Dover from London.
2 hour ferry from Dover to Calais.
5 hour drive from Calais to Nurburg
= the most amazing, unforgettable, incredible 32min 45.12 seconds of my life.
I will never, ever forget this place. I was speaking to a guy on the ferry from Dover and he was saying that he had taken just one lap of the Ring when he was my age (I'm 25, he's 64) and to this day he still remembers almost every turn, every sensation. This Track is just simply amazing, as are the cars I saw there. The only thing missing was my Evo (company wouldn't pay to bring her over...hehe). So I had to drive a rented RHD Vauxhaull Astra 1.8.
here are the pics, enjoy boys

If anyone ever gets a chance to go, DO NOT PASS IT UP. the drive to the track is beautiful, the people are nice and the track....well, it's pure bliss on asphalt.
