See i did the same thing with the VIN number i got from the Red evo at the la auto show and it said invaid too

 

Well, good news and bad news for me.

Good news, I got the VIN on my silver evo headed to DC area.

VIN: JA3AH86F23U087886 (The 0 is a zero, not the letter o)

Bad news: The ship date has changed again, now it's saying march 21st. At this point I'm not paying attention to the ship dates, they change so much

I called up progressive, who gave me the lowest quote on a WRX, and they couldnt find the VIN in their database, but they're inquiring to the proper authorities for it, and should have at least a description on it within a week.

 

We sould have a contest for the best photo...slap sidways with all four smoking would be a good start

Who's gonna' get there's broken in the fastest or blow break in off completely

 

Anybody else got this same quote or any dealer out there who could confirm this?

 

mine still said 28.8, so no, but they dont seem to be completely up to speed as I didnt speak to the sales manger, the guy in charge of the evos.

 

I spoke with a couple of dealerships today and so far none of them have a solid pricing yet. They all say around $30K
But the other thing I'm almost positive of at least around here is that no Evo's are arriving prior to March. I don't think anyone will have one in February. My dealer is supposed to be getting some in around March 7th. Then a week or two after that. I really want a silver one but they don't have any on the list coming soon. Bah, why can't we just place orders and fill em that way.

 

The more important question is who is going to break theirs the fastest?

Driving the way you suggest I wouldn't give it long before those kinds of stories start being posted.

I am having a hard time sleeping, and am dreaming about having the first one on my block....

 

There has been nothing released on pricing, absolutely nothing since the original announcement in January. Trust me, your dealer is not going to have ANY firm numbers yet, just guesses.

 

I can but it won't mean anything since the date will change and the chances of the car actually shipping on the date listed in the computer are close to nil (they almost never do).

 

So if it says ship date of 3-5 will it get to me by mid March????
