18K still seems high for the year but the low miles and stock setup negate that. The Evo VI is like the V except for cosmetic stuff.

A local member has a 6.5 and apparently it's pretty awesome (and very well built)

If you are planning to bring it here to Amreica.. good luck! It will cost you more than an Evo IX. Unless you know someone who can help you get it registered and all that good stuff. If you are keeping it in the PI... get an Evo IV or V cause they are cheaper and some say lighter. Good for rally and racing. go to the Asian Forums on here and get info from some Philippine Evo owners.

My buddy back in Istanbul has a pair of Evo VI--TME's. One is stock and one is mildly modded. These cars are amazing! Stock-for-stock, they are more exciting to drive than an Evo 8. They're noticably lighter and that AYC really works magic. I'm sure the Evo VI RS is just as much fun and can be made even faster with mild mods.

A single drive in that Evo VI--TME is what got me hooked on Evos...but I had to wait until 2003 before I could buy one of my own here in America.

For me, the Evo VI--TME is still the ultimate Evo.

Nice!

I'll take a nice white Evolution 5 though.

Im only saying this cause I have a VI but cosmeticly I like the newer Evos. AYC is great but not worth having an illegal car that I'll be scared to drive in the states.

i keep thinking this thread is titled "onions and evo.."

lol

i say not worth it. too much issues, hard finding parts in the states, or find anyone who knows how to fix it right if something goes wrong.

Also, how the hell are you going to insure that?

that's not the only thing wrong with it.
