Opinions and facts on the Evo VI
im soon purchasing a used evo 6. mileage is 10,000km stock rs2. i want to know if the evo vi is worth it (around US$18,000) of converted from philippine pesos. good things and bad things about the 6?
If you are planning to bring it here to Amreica.. good luck! It will cost you more than an Evo IX.
Unless you know someone who can help you get it registered and all that good stuff. If you are keeping it in the PI... get an Evo IV or V cause they are cheaper and some say lighter. Good for rally and racing. go to the Asian Forums on here and get info from some Philippine Evo owners.

My buddy back in Istanbul has a pair of Evo VI--TME's. One is stock and one is mildly modded. These cars are amazing! Stock-for-stock, they are more exciting to drive than an Evo 8. They're noticably lighter and that AYC really works magic. I'm sure the Evo VI RS is just as much fun and can be made even faster with mild mods.
A single drive in that Evo VI--TME is what got me hooked on Evos...but I had to wait until 2003 before I could buy one of my own here in America.

i keep thinking this thread is titled "onions and evo.."
lol
i say not worth it. too much issues, hard finding parts in the states, or find anyone who knows how to fix it right if something goes wrong.
Also, how the hell are you going to insure that?
that's not the only thing wrong with it.
