Got my BOV yesterday

I got my Greddy Type S yesterday installed it without modding it and it works fine...its awesome. and its pretty loud which is good no problems so far but I have a question. I looked under the hood today and saw that the Nut that goes on the top to adjust "hard and soft" was gone I didn't touch it and no one touched my car...is this a bad thing??? and should I buy another one its running fine though.

well that nut keeps the stem from adjusting with the vibration. See if you can go 2 Home depot and get another one.

may i suggest getting one with a hex-head...

that way you can adjust it easily and know the level of adjustment if you part some of the sides of the hex with a marker.
