You guys might hate me but I want to see mitsu go down. I mean **** its not like they help us anyway. I hate mitsu but love the evo and if they stop importing them here then our rarity goes up. I would hate it though if they stopped making the evo in japan which will never happen.

bye bye

Two things wrong with

1. Poor quality!

2. allow dealers to sale cars and not regulate them in customer satisfaction?? Loves to lure customer to buy but does not give crap afterward.

i tend to think that Mitsu Motors won't completely fold, but even in japan they have an uphill battle ahead of them. lots of dealerships closed over the past year and the issue with recalls in japan really seems to have hurt them. when i was in Nagoya in january i couldn't even find a mitsu dealership cuz the three that my friend knew of had all closed!!!

i think in the US if the Eclipse and Raider don't do well we're gonna see dealerships folding. Tuesday's USA Today had a full page ad for the new Eclipse and some people i work with commented that they liked it, so hopefully that bodes well for mitsu. we'll see....

oh, and either way, i'm glad i got an Evo!!!

I don't think so. When FIAT left the USA, 124 Spyders and X1/9s didn't suddenly become for valuable. When Alfa Romeo left, 164s and spyders didn't become more valuable. When Pugeot left the USA, 504s didn't become more valuable.

They all lost value as being without support from a dealer network.

mitsubishi is really not doing well for themselves.

ever since the mid to late 90's, they have been denying that their cars have any problems.

Used to have a 99 GSX - crankwalk sucks - got rid of it at 45K miles.

Driving DSM Cars = Love / Hate Relationship

:mitus: isn't going anywhere, BET THAT! They need the 4g eclipse to sale, like a fat kid wants a cupcake. They are doing faaaaaaaar worse in japan than they are doing here. Only way MMNA falls, if MMC falls.

I didnt really mean it in terms of value but of rarity. If no more new evo's come out all the rich ****** will get an sti or various other inferior cars and we will smoke them all I think it'd be nice if they made the 9 for 2006 then stopped making the evo rather than dealerships going bye bye... because then where am I gonna be able to moon a place I hate whenever I'm in a pissy mood.

What about Europe where sales are up, way up (and colt wins awards, left and right)...stock holders see light, they'll stay alive...it costs more to close a plant than keep it running with light in sight. Anyway...the products are cool really, endeavour is sexy, new galant is reliable and a good buy, the 05 eclipse (although MMNA sales have haulted because of brake problems) is freakin awesome, fast, no torque steer, great looking...not sure what to think of this really,...glad i got my evo though, paid off and all aftermarket parts with independent support,...sooo hmmmm.

Mitusbishi has very little to get people in and actually buy cars. The EVO is the only thing that gets my attention. Back in the day they had the Eclipse GSX, 300GT VR-4 and in Japan the EVO and Galant VR-4's. Now all they have in the performance category is the EVO. There are no other performance vehicles and the styling is pretty generic on most of them. Plus with reliability issues and poor resale value they are not attracting customers either. Now with financial issues others are scared too. Finally the dealer network stinks. As a former GSX owner and having a dad with a Galant ES V6 I can tell you we have had poor service from the Illinois dealers. They don't make me want to go back to them all that often. I hope they get it back together and add performance back to their lineup.

It's ENTIRELY possible for Mitsu to come out of it's financial nosedive.

It's also feasable for GM to as well.

Lookit Nissan!!!

**** EM...serves em right for giving evo owners grief about their ****-poor warranty...Cheap Bastards! We brought those @ssholes back from the brink and they repay our loyalty by bvtt-****ing everbody that puts an after-market exhaust on their car. Damn right they deserve to die and I hope they burn in Hell !!!

To Cloudy: Nissan was bought out by renault. Notice your euro style Gauges you look at every day when you get into your car?
