___ whp = 11's?

Just wondering what people running 11s have in the whp area? Just given average driver, average weight of car and driver, etc.

Just looking for estimates

More like 360-400 depending on the dyno. 500 is deep in the 11's. Probably 8's if Curt is driving

Come on, man, be real. You can do 11s on 350whp. For the average driver with average weight, I'd say ~380.

yeah, I'm just wondering average driver because I haven't taken it to the track yet, but I don't want to expect 11s or low 12s and then run a high 12. So that would tell me my driving skill.

Well, on your first time, you will probably not do as well as the "average" driver. Share your WHP or mods along with elevation, and I can give you a guesstimate.

330whp on mustang dyno. In dallas, so roughly a little above sea level.

I have been to the track before, but not in this car (or a manual for that matter, so I am not expecting great results)

I'm thinking about a 12.25 as of right now.

Maybe a 12.25 after many attempts, but I wouldn't be surprised if you hit 13s on the first few tries. Doing it in a manual is a big change from auto...launching with AWD is a whole new beast. With an 03-04 you will have no LSD, which makes it tougher than 05s. . In the end, 330whp is capable of 12.25 for sure, depending on clutch/tires/elevation/temp/humidity.

*edit* Oh wait, you said that was on a Mustang Dyno, so you are making even more power than I originally was thinking. You should be able to nip at the door of 11s once you get the launch/shifting down pat.

Way back when I dyno'd at FIS (same as you) at 296.9WHP, I ran 12.7's. With an extra 35WHP, I would think you could run low12's...not 11's yet unless you're one hell of a driver. Also, where do you plan on running? Ennis is nice but VERY sticky. Hit me up sometime and let me know when you are heading out, as soon as the new clutch is broke-in, I'll head out there with ya. I'm almost possitive I'm in the 11's now, but there's only one way to tell!

But your 12.7s are not indicative of the proper times to run at 300whp on a mustang dyno, unless I'm making ~285whp right now. I might be around 260-270 on a dynojet, but I would expect much lower on a Mustang.

I'd say for the average driver, 380AWHP to start.
