Silver with CF hood Y/N?
I have Apex Silver...would CF hood look good with this color? I'm 50/50...please sway me. I just got 3 massive dings and scratches from rocks on the highway yesterday....
I think RR, TB, and maybe WW looks the best with CF hoods but I'm really not sure about Apex Silver at all.
Help me out.

I'm in the exact same position because of the exact same problem! The aluminum dents pretty easy, don't she. I also have the apex silver and have been looking at CF hoods. I've found a photo here the other day from a thread by someone selling an apex silver with a monster sport front, and he had a CF hood, but the photos weren't so great.
Any one with photos out there?

I think one of the coolest cars I've ever seen on here was the following. Apex silver, I think someone said it was Evodaves old car....anyway it had black rims a carbon fiber hood painted black roof no spoiler and a carbon fiber trunk......IT LOOKED AMAZING probably the coolest Evo I have seen. The hood will fit in fine but a set of black rims would bring te whole thing together

while the color combo works and will look good, just remember, its a hood, and will get dings and chips, etc., from driving.
murphy has two laws that relate directly to the hood of our cars... if anything can go wrong, it will; and a falling object will always land where it can do the most damage
whichever route you go, enjoy. as long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters.

heres a pic of a CF hood on an evo w/o a kit for reference...
i would go with it, i think it looks hot. and twomix - the point of a CF hood is to reduce weight, i dont think its "rice" because of its practicality for racing (reduce weight without having to sacrifice any creature comforts), but you are entitled to your opinion
