Damn, same thing happened to me. I have an 05 without SSL. Got it home and realized there were no foglights. Lame.

 

Always finding some way to cut back in cost

 

Looks like you could just pop the headlight assembly out and cut that chrome cup off of the innermost bezel and then mount some aftermarket fogs in there, then drill a hole in the black plastic rear piece to run your wire up into the fuse panel and then put a switch in one of the empty plugs by your left knee. I have been pondering doing this for a few months now. If I do, I will post pics up, or maybe do a how to.

I took my evo to the local tuner shop about 6 months ago and was asking the guy about fog lights, and he said to me "Are you an idiot? All evos come with fog lights....." after he saw my car and looked for himself he was like WTF??? I guess the ACD was more costly to us 05 owners than we thought. apparently it was more than just I/C spray that we missed out on.

For those 05s without the SSL, you can use the headlamps from 03-04 Evos to get HIDs + foglights. I wouldn't trade my ACD and 10.5 Hotside for 03, 04 headlamps... but i still know where to get em cheap because i still want em

 

MITSU is gay... They give 05 ACD but no HID's 03 come wit HIDS no ACD? what gives?!
