30k miles and 2 years later, not one single regret (except for that damn mod bug that seems to have taken hold of me)

MR completely takes car of suspension stiffness IMO.

Only problem, and i mean ONLY problem with the car... is lack of cruise control. Otherwise its the most tame, undercontrol, and relitively quiet car I have ever driven. Anyone that tells you a stock evo is loud inside, may be crazy... I mean its no honda civic, but its certainly pretty quiet.

No problem. i know mine is a mid year production, and wasn't sure if there was any change.
yes, I agree the remote trunk button on the keyless entry would be good. There are aftermarket keyless entry that can do that, but that would possibly mean two remotes. Unless they can program it for the doors as well.

No, I didn't install cruise yet, but Rostra I hear is a reputable brand.

I've had mine for roughly 9 months now and just hit 9,000 miles (includes a 1500 mile trip to South Padre). Drive it every day and couldn't be happier. For the few days it was in the shop getting the ACT, I was driving a supercharged Mustang GT. If you think Evos run rough over bumps, try that for a week...my Evo felt like a damn BMW once I got it back (suspension-wise). No complaints here, turns a lot of heads, lots of smiles, thumbs-ups, crying SRT4 owners, etc.

The Evo is a good daily driver if you don't have to drive too far and traffic is not too heavy. I haven't taken a long trip in mine and I don't want to. With different tires I would think you could have a lot of fun in the winter. We had a lot of rain this year in socal and that was my favorite time to drive. Just remember good gas, tires, and insurance aren't cheap.

My MR is my daily driver. I love it. I agree about no cruise control...I really miss it on long trips. Only issue I have is my exhaust is loud, but that's my fault. The stock exhaust was extremely quite

I don't plan on driving it daily in the winter though, too much salt and sand around here. But I will have some fun with it in the snow.

my car is daily..its been about 11months..and i have about 28k on it..wow..

i just love it...even if i drive another car for like an hour and come back for some reason i would want to drive my evo again..you can lower it on hotchkis springs to have a smoother ride and get all seasons tires...it will be more comfortable and handle decent..mind you it won t have the reflex as stock but i dont think its that bad went is a daily..anyways i love mine daily..but yes..gas does suck..so i'm getting a beater on the road...

No problems what so ever. Except my Brake Calipers paint coming off. but my dealership fix them.
No squeak's or rattles
My service dept is great.

I've had my 05 Evo for about a month in a half. The only complaints I can make are that the brake pads are SUPER squeaky and I've heard so many rattles inside the car that it is starting to bother me. Other than tha,t I'd say it is a decent daily commuter.

- the service department at the dealership is pretty crappy, oh well..

There's only one decent person in my service dept. They tried to charge me for the key for the wheel locks even though the car was missing it when I picked it up brand new with only 11 miles on it. I'm really not looking forward to dealing with them if anything needs warranty work.
