This is kind of a pointless discussion. Of course everyone is going to choose some supercar. The evo isn't my DREAM car, the freaking Carrera GT is. Now for the price range with current US cars, I would have gotten an STI.

03-04 Mustang Cobra coupe. Convertables suck as$. I have been looking at the 06 Shelby GT500's.

Rant....

If no one can make a clutch that can hold up to daly driving and auto-x for more than 20k miles than there is a design problem from mitsu. They should have made the clutch housing bigger for more friction material. I change clutches every time I cange tires...

Stock tires @7k Miles
Stock Clutch @14K miles
Pirelli P Nero Zero's @24K miles
RRE No name clutch @34K miles
Now I have...
BF Goodrich G-Forse Sport (expect to last to @40K miles
ACT Street HD Clutch (expect to last to @54K miles)

Then we'll see....

If your not launching I don't see why the clutch can't hold up perfectly fine provided you can shift like a decent driver. 13.5k miles on my clutch right now w/ my current whp and it bites like a shark.
