First time at the track with my Evo
Vs. my friend's 05 STi.
Before anyone asks, on Sundays our track opens up for "street racing." No tree, no slips, no times...just heads up racing. It's only $10 and it keeps us off the streets...

Keep in mind these are my first two launches EVAR at the track in an AWD.

1st race I beat him by about 2-3 carlengths, he biffed his launch.
2nd race I beat him by a half car or less, it was a close *** race. For some reason the 05 STi's seem more powerful than the 04's...
Not bad considering we lack about 30hp compared to the STi...with an intake, hard intercooler pipes, 3" turboback, and NX intercooler kit I'm pretty even with him.

Sweet for your first two launches, not bad. Yeah times would be nice, but if they are trying to keep to a street racing atmosphere then times aren't really needed. Still good job and I hope everything goes good for you in your future modifications. Remember choose your tuner wisely.
