If... just to say if, the Evo was #2 and the survey were real.... why is the STi not on the list? or sayyyyyy an M3.... or say.... Corvette....

i believe... Evo is up there because of 2 fast 2 furious.

ahhh i believe its the other way arround, way more ppl know about the M3 than the Evo....remember the Evo is still relatively new to north america, however the M3 has been around here forever

 

I disagree... I think more ppl know about the //M3 & STi. The Evo is more known in the younger age group because of F&F and games like GT.

 

Other cars at the top of the masculinity dial include the exotic Ford GT supercar, Maserati Spyder, Jaguar XK8 sports car and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.

your not thiking about it the right way. is the car more known to WOMEN OR MEN.

the stats are on percentage of buyers that are sex A or B. with the evo at #2 its like 20,000 evo's were sold and only 1000 were women. whereas lets say the m3... 10,000 sell but 3000 of the buyers are women.... 5% penetration on evo for women, 30% on the M3

I can see the M3 not being o the list cause its prob closer to a 70/30 split men/women on owners. The Sti is kind of a different story... maybe wome shopping subbi's liked it?

Funny thing is I only like #1-3 and #10 on the guy list. I don't care for #4-9 at all. My top 10 would be performance oriented, but It would be very different.
