my friend put a SSautochrome manifold on his civic and it cracked in like 10 different spots

 

What about the Borla manifold. I have been considering a tubular manifold but most of the ones that I see have the ALS rails on them, and it seems to me that even if they don’t hurt the power output they are not helping any either. I figure that the ALS rails disrupt the Exhaust flow. The Borla hasn’t got the ALS rails and the quality looks good, so I am wondering about the performance before I drop 500-600 of my hard earned dollars on one.
