SCCA membership...

it sure would be neat to have mitsubishi offer something like subaru did with their wrxes...perhaps a free subscription to speed channel or something. :P

scca membership is nice, but once u enter an event, ur warranty is void. so decide what u want to do first.

just a lil warning. dont take it personally.

i brought it up because i just got my renewal in the mail and i no longer qualify or the "speedfreakz" reduced price. bummer.

i have done quite a few solo2 events and one prosolo (teach me to show up as the only car in class on street tires ) , and i never got a letter in the mail or anything saying my warranty was voided.

nothing taken personally, btw.

Don't start me off on speed channel......what is going on....Nascar, nascar,nascar.....why do they give so much air time to a bunch o' rednecks going round and round for 8 million laps in cars that you can't buy....that cost millions to produce and run.....and stupid names like Rusty Jr. dale waljerk.
I guess some people like it but lets even out the air time ...tonight we have some form of redneck racing till 11.00pm...thats stupid

i consider myself very lucky to have stumbled across some JGTC on speed channel the other day. i hadn't checked it in ages because of the nascar influx that you mention...

but i won't get you started.

So how do they know you enter? Assuming you pay for your own membership.

Speed channel is now the "Tivo" channel. Nothing worth watching comes on during the normal human waketime....All I ever watch are my Tivo recorded events that usually air late at night or during the work day. ...I almost never watch the channel live...

SC~ who remembers when it was still speedvision and Rally events were on about 5 times a week!

A warranty can't usually just get written off or voided as a whole. Reimbursement for warranty claims can certainly be denied. And the denying of a claim can only be done if the failure at hand is caused by things you have done that are outside the coverages of the written warranty document.

SC~Who has autocrossed dozens of times and never had any problems getting warranty services.
