Headlight with intake hole
Below is every picture I have of this intake "scoop". None of them are up close, but hopefully they are of some help to Dave.








I am under the impression that the outer most edge of this "scoop" (the part on the lens of the headlight) matches the shape and contour of the "bezel" or concave that the OEM fog light or fog light blank sits in.
Dave, you should understand what I mean given how many of these you have taken apart.
Once this shape is formed, and a "flange" is made to seat on the lense and a seal is made with the headlight lense, it appears that just a straight tube extends back through the housing protruding from the back of the housing to allow for ducting or tubing to direct air to the intake. Obviously, a seal in the back of the housing would be ideal as well.
