My boost controller is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I have a couple questions though, any response would be much appreciated!
1) What gear should I be in when setting my boost? I read somewhere you should set your boost in 3rd or 4th.

2) What is the maxium consistent boost that the stock EVO engine can withstand. I don't want to push it to high, and will probably keep it around stock, but would like to turn it up sometimes.

 

To answer both questions, I would set boost at or near 21 lbs of boost -- and you can do a few pulls in third gear to make sure you are not over-boosting.

you can go to 22 or 23 psi on 93 octane for your temporary high setting

 

awesome. The gas station right down the street sells 93 and that is all she has ever had!
