I already offered Kev free web hosting for all of his vids with unlimited bandwidth, but he never responded.

Thats just insane. At 3500 rpms that thing just blows some serious hot air.

Yep, but that's really nothing compared to geo@evostore, who blows some serious hot air at a mere 10 wpm

WOW! That was pretty insane. I like the fact he punched it at 3,500rpm's and it hit boost 500rpm's later. I would love to see the spool from a lower rpm. I plan on going with a similar setup and I CAN"T WAIT!!!

I will do a video soon (like this weekend) on the road and do some low pulls in defferent gears and show you guys how it spools, drives in traffic ect. I have never been in or driven a 2.0 with a 35R so I can't say a defference but mine spools about like stock and in fact a friend was behind me (in a bolt on evo) and I was just driving fairly normal with just a little acceleration and for him to keep up he was boosting about 10psi and I was barely hitting 2 to 3psi not that that is anything about spool but it shows how drivable it is.

This is very true. I'm the friend that was behind him.

We still need some 1/4 times for this badboy. Are there any 1/4 strips near you?

Lemme know if you want to set up the mount I have behind your backseat...so can get a good shot of the mph/revs, rather then having someone hold it the whole time haha

This is not an attempt at putting down the car in anyway, I'm just being realistic.
I believe that is why others including myself, would like to see a video on the street either from a dead stop or from a roll @ 2000 rpms...

Also, I am not an expert by any means, I am just very interested in this set-up for myself and I am trying to understand full boost in terms of lack of lag for driviability on the street. From what I understand this set-up comes close to stock-like spool even though your are pushing significantly more air.

Is this type of boost really that hard to achieve without the aid of NOS? Listed below is a quote from AMS about this kit & a 35R

QUOTE=AMS]We just ran the car at 24psi with water injection and made 501whp and 430ft-lbs of torque. I did some road tuning with this car the last few days and it will start making boost at 2200-2400rpm with 10psi by 3K in 4th gear and 24-25psi by 3500-3600rpm. Awesome car to drive with a very wide powerband, perfect for the street or road course. You have full power and torque from 3500rpm to 8000rpm. Where the stock turbo start to drop power at 6500rpm this thing keeps making power all the way to redline. To compare power bands, the stock turbo hits full boost at around 2.9-3K rpm and makes usable power to 7K rpm, the stroker 35R setup hits full boost at 3.5-3.6K rpm and makes useable power to over 8Krpm. Not only are you making much more power but you are also extending your usable power band, which is very important to having a fast car. Peak HP gives you bragging rights, wide power bands give you a fast street car. If you have high HP and a wide power band then you have the ultimate street/strip car.
