The results I have seen with Zaino do it for me. It has a deep, wet look! Meguiars has been a good second.

I have a Tarmac Black Evo, I was searching for a good wax even before I bought the car.

1. The best wax out there is still Turtle wax, they don't spend a hell lot of money advertising their product, but theirs is still the best, I used it the first weekend I got my car, it's awesome.
2. Zaino. As posted before by Freds4, it's a showroom wax, fancy stuff. It requires applying 3 different cleaning/coating solutions to the car before you put on the real wax, the first time applying can take half a day, not to mention this stuff is NOT cheap, you can get everything you need from their website, would cost around $40-50 for the first time. I've never used this yet on my Evo, but one of my coworkers have used this consistantly on his Viper, and it looks GOOD. If you get this wax, make sure you only use white, 100% cotton, U.S. made towels.
3. Rejex. This is something I've only heard from a friend, his neighbor uses it on a pickup truck, it prevents the dusts/dead bugs from sticking to the car, after a day of driving on the highway he can literally spray all the dead bugs off of his car with a garden hose. It's something I plan to look into later.
4. Don't get the new ArmorAll gel wax, the one that you "apply as you are drying the car after a wash". That concept seems to be a bit flawed, a friend of mine used that stuff on his black Civic, it seems as if he can never get an even coating on the car. It's hard to tell that the wax was uneven as you are applying, but it will show after the car drys, leaving watermark like lines on the car, it's not very visible but can be seen closeup.

Hope that helps.

This is like asking what's the best oil: lots of opinions. It seems that regular washing and waxing with anything is better than rare washing/waxing with something wonderful. I like Nu-Finish. I currently have my car waxed 1/3 w/it; 1/3 w/Meguiars & 1/3 with Griot's. Stay tuned for results. Also, I have found that the hood gets so hot that it burns thru wax much faster than the other body parts do. So a non-wax sealant seems to work better there.

A wax will only last a couple of washings. I prefer to use a sealant. My preference is a product called Klasse All In One topped with Klasse Sealant Glaze. You can then top this with a good Carnuaba wax like Pinnacle or Blitz. I don't use store bought stuff because most of the good stuff can't be bought at a store. Check out this site
http://www.autopia.org/ for any detailing questions you have. A good place to buy stuff is http://properautocare.com/ . Also make sure you use good drying and buffing towels. No old bath towels or tshirts or diapers. Only use good microfiber towels not cheap ones. Trust me on this I am a bit of a detailing fanatic and all my recent vehicles have been of the german variety. The poor Evo paint quality and clear coat will get swirled quickly if using bad stuff or the wrong techniques. No circular motions by hand when detailing etc.

Mothers, Meguiars, and Turtle Wax Ultra Gloss.. I've used all 3 on my yellow OZ. The turtle wax I used lasted all thru the winter, even with the salt. Great wax.. I'm going to try Meguiars next.

I've been using Liquid Glass for over 10 years. It last a very long time and protection from the element increases with the number of coats applied. It's also very easy to apply. However, it's a little on the expensive side...$18.00/bottle.

I had a black z06 before my white evo, i started using Zymol because i couldnt find a thing that would make the black look good. After discovering zymol i wouldnt use anything else. They make a few different kinds, i believe the carbon is for black or dark colored cars, but ive been using their Japon wax since i got my evo. After a good clay baring and applying this wax i have never had better results.

Im with s4toevo8 on this one. I use the Klasse All-in-one, followed by the Klasse Sealant Glaze, then a few top coats of Pinnacle Souverän. In between waxing, I use the Pininacle Crystal Mist Detailing spray. Goes on easy and comes off even easier. Love these products.

I also use Finish First.

None of that store bought stuff for my Tarmac Evo.

look all those waxes are good but not even close to the best. I and my company have used all of them they are no comparison to the products we use on our customers cars. we wax everything from evo's to carrera gt's, maybachs and bentley phantoms. out of the store products is just if you are looking for a shine for about a month our waxes last for six months and they are promised we do only the best work and everuone has been pleased.
