i just got home from purching my lancer (Oz) today and i asked the head honcho and he said 3/10 for the dealership in Thousand Oaks and said priced around 40 kinda steep i think..but hope that is somewhat usefully maybe..

on the reals you can talk the dealers to down the price...thats their business...trying to make a lil extra...cant blame them to make money...i flashed them my check...so its pretty much a done deal...29,000...with big wing silver shift know and pedals struts...guages...etc...

dude. You may want to go check with your dealership on that. About a month ago we all thought our cars were arriving in the last week of Feb also. But shipment/production issues pushed back those promised delivery dates by a few weeks.

i guess it doesnt matter...i know mine is coming on the 9th...which is always subject to change...actually everyone's is subject to change...but it aint coming in feb...

 

the dealer in my area is talking about a full 10k markup i'll get it in a couple of years

 

My dealer said the same thing it's ship date is 9 march 03. And that's in New Mexico had VIN and confirmed there were still on the ship. Nobody know the arrival dates for sure. Because the arrival and ship dates are completely different. Ship date is when i gets shipped from port. This info is from the OWNER himself

I'm not sure if I shoulda started a new thread, but it pertains to Shipping Dates so here is my "Latest Rumor" on why the dates have continued to slip.

I was at my local Subaru dealer today, taking a free spin in the "special pricing package promotion" on the WRX.

I drove it and yawned.

THEN, I told him I had a deposit on an EVO comming in March, and he said:

"Well, the reason they are delayed is because they can't pass the EPA tests at 276HP ..... So they are probably going to have to reduce the HP down to about 245."


I looked at him and smiled. This was supposed to make the puny 227HP of the WRX seem better to me.

Has anyone else heard this Rumor?
