I am no expert but I have been doing body work for a very long time and I will not drive or even ride in any of your cars that dont have the reinforcement bar. That reinforcement bar makes a big difference when getting into frontal impact. Stay alive, leave the reinforcement on.

 

Remove the support and you are not only opening yourself up for extra injury, but definitely, without a doubt, extra legal liability... if not from persons injured, the insurance companies having to cover those injuries.
