Air Fliter ARC red.. can reused? wash and reoil like K&N or buy new ARC fliter for 80 buck for pairs. Also use stock air tube or upgrade tube to connect ARC air box?

the filter is not reusable in my experience...they must be replaced but they last a pretty long time

connects to the stock intake pipe, though they work even better with the aftermarket pipes like Cusco, etc

Also, you MUST reflash for this, or any other intake mod!!!!

I have the arc box as well, and as stated above, no you don't needa reflash if you get this induction box. I had the intake for about 3 months before I got it flashed to my mods, it runs a bit better with more hp after the flash, but not much of a diff.

if you ever datalog the MAF before an aftermarket intake and after, you would see what all these intakes due....trust me, you need a reflash to keep things happy and to realize the gains the intakes reall can produce.

Will it run without reflashing? Sure.....but it will be far from ideal.

This is one of the intakes that skews the MAF readings ALOT...the idea is to keep the ecu thinking its running stock stuff when in fact, it isn't

I was just wondering if anyone had this and if they liked it. Is it better than other Intakes? How does it compare. I live in the desert in CA and I was worried installing an intake due to the sand and dust we have here.

if u dont reflash, u might even lose power. Reflash it for better performance and better fuel ecoonmy and better yet, reflash it to make the car happy.
