Cool Evo in the mountains!

I had the chance this weekend to take my Evo on vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains in Pigeon Forge TN. Wow, the Evo is a beast! This car is such a blast on twisty roads. I only bought this car a couple of weeks ago, and I haven't regretted one second of it! I didn't drive too crazy, but I did push it a little in and out of the bends. The force you feel coming out of turns is totally addictive.

The drive up the mountain to the cabin was the best part, a mix of paved and gravel roads winding up and down without another car for miles. To anyone on the fence about owning one of these fine cars, take it from me, it won’t disappoint you!

I attached a few picture below, but they really don't do the roads justice. The last picture is a mustang saleen who’s owner I ran into at a convince store on the way up there. A little off topic, but to a nice ride!!

My neighbour has a new-gen Saleen and it looks light years better than a regular 05(06?) Mustang, it's incredible how little cosmetics can change the looks of the car.

Yea welcome to the twisty road monster! I was in W.V last week on some really fun roads thru the mountains. boy was it amazing. I was really interested to see how the brakes worked. My old wrx had some problems on the same roads. The brakes on the evo are amazing. Altho i did get alittle shimmy after some serious downhill bends. im not sure if that is because of the brake lines heating up or the roters!.

That's how I felt about this one. I don't care much for the styling of the previous generation mustang, but this car was really nice! I don't know how much of that body was aftermarket, but regardless ford should take note.

That sounds like a blast... I'd love to run Deal's Gap (318 corners in 11 miles).
