By far Works shift knob is the best. It made my tranny feel completely different and the shifting is much smoother and stronger. I could not believe that a counter weighted shift knob can do this. When my friend drove the car he loved how it felt too.

I have the Greddy counterweighted knob and can personally vouch for it. I would like to know the weight of the Works knob as the Greddy is 13.5 oz.

edit: the Works knob is 6.1oz

I actually just bought a stock leather shift knob because my steel kartboy's shift knob was getting too hot. Due to AZ heat, I had to stay with the stock knob or else it will literally cook my hand

I almost got one of those knobs.. but omg, yes, mine gets sooo hot in the sun. Its been 95F the past 3 days (ambient temp) with a heat index of 104F. I went to grab my shift knob on the way out of work and I couldn't even touch it, I thought my skin stuck to it.. I had to turn on the a/c and let it blow on the knob for about 3 mins.

I had the momo airleather and loved it. However, it kept coming a little loose, so i bought the greddy counterweight, and oh my god is it nice. You can just throw the shifter into gear so easily with this knob. Sure it gets hot if it sits long enough, but in my opinion, it's worth it.
