Anyone get an inusrance quote yet ?

State farm quoted me a real cheap $450 a year when i first asked about my WRX - by the time I bought it 10 days later it was up to $750 a year and every renewal each 6 mos since then it has gone up and up - now I am at $2,000 per year with no new tickets or accidents and I am over 35

Just wondering how they are going to treat the EVO ??

The rates went up and up because all the immature, inexperienced drivers that bought them and totalled them.
I expect the Evo to be a little higher than a Wrx considering the vehicle cost is higher and cost to repair will be higher.

I do. I specifically had her contact their underwriter for a specific quote on this car. It came back a hair higher than a '03 WRX, so I know they found the right car.

Yeah - it was stupid of Subaru to put those cheap *** RE 92 tires and weak breaks on the WRX's - they were way too fast for the tires and breaks available - the EVO VIII seems much more balanced overall - hopefully less of them will wind up wrapped around trees

Well, that's why Subaru could sell the WRX at such a cheap price

Not much of a bargian it was when you needed to swap out the wheels, tires, breaks and suspension just to make it a balanced car to drive - - and it neeed an extra 100 hp to go along with it all

I like that the evo will be all set on the suspension and breaks - all it will need is an injection of power !
