'05 Evo VIII GSR.....?

I'm going New Jersey dealership hunting tomorrow. What am I looking to pay for the car. I know the invoice price for the very basic GSR model(no SSL) is $28.9. I've seen people say they have walked away from a Mitsu dealer for under invoice. Any tips to haggle with they people? I'm just trying to get the best price I can. Thanks in advance.

I can get an '05 STi for $31, so they better be willing to work with me or I'm driving an STi home Saturday haha. Doesn't matter much to me, I'd prefer the Evo but we'll leave that decision up to Mitsubishi and see how they want to go about it. Test drove the STi today, AMAZING car it was so much fun. Obviously getting to test drive an Evo requires a little more work haha. Thanks for the help though.

Yup walk out, but make sure the salesman has your phone#. He will call ya as long as your offer isn't ridiculous.
That's how I got $24,000 trade in for my 03 to get my 05.

I hear that bringing a crying baby with you will help with negotiations. Anything to get you out the door!

Make sure that they dont know that you can get an 05 STi for $31 or they will go for getting you into the Evo for $29-$30.
