Top gear had been playing in my town for quite a while now, but it was called 5th gear, but it was seriously the same show.

I watched pinks last night, I kinda liked that show.

 

I love Top Gear.

 

Top Gear and 5th Gear are two different shows. The one airing right now (as in, the current season) is Top Gear. When it goes on hiatus in winter and early spring, 5th Gear airs.

It's great that they are airing this show over here now, too bad it sounds like they are airing shows from last year. I guess Ill just continue to download the new ones.

Top Gear is the greatest motoring show ever! 5th gear is kinda water down a bit to review of more mainstream cars. Jeremy Clarkson is the best ever.

 

last night i flipped between top gear and street tuner challenge since they were on at the same time. top gear is awesome except for the clapping. when they are in that studio if feel like i'm wathcing an infomercial or something. between the overzealous host and the clapping crowd its a little much. the reviews are sweet though. the tuner show was alright i guess.

 

That's not true either. Top Gear airs on BBC and Fifth Gear airs on Channel 5 so they are not affiliated in any way. Tiff Needell used to be a presenter on Top Gear but they went their seperate ways. Fifth Gear airs October - May while Top Gear airs year round with a break between January and May (IIRC).

 

I watched the PINKS show. I think they need to review the tapes on this one. The first race I think the guy got cheated with the negotiations. He later lost his car. You have to have some ***** to go on that show.
