Ive thought about doing the same, but dont know where i can buy just the head YET!!! its sounds to me to be the same as the honda V-tec to non V-tec, so i dont think a head swap would be difficult. But then again u have to switch almost everything that touches the timing belt on an H23 non-V-tec to make it V-tec, but still not that big of deal, enless u have to drill the hole in the block to feed oil threw(Based on a Honda)so...... i dont know, hope someone does it so then we'll all know how easy or hard it is!!

From what I've seen and read, there's not a huge difference between the two.. and I don't think Mivec is going to really be a worthwhile retrofit upgrade until people really begin to understand the value of the technology and can build cam profiles for it and learn to control the actuator on the cam gear.

You might need a new ECU too.. not sure. Cause I have a OZ Rally, and my brother has a Ralliart. Nearly the same car, just different engine. His has mivec, mine doesn't. (ralliart is also 2.4L mivec vs. 2.0 SOHC) The cam is different, and so is the way the spark plug assembly is laid out. (no wires). His ECU is much different than mine, and so is the wiring, so all that would need to go into account, plus the fitment. If it is the same bottom end, it should mate right up.
