well i just called around to some places for my first check up and found out that im a 1000 miles later.. been following the manual but said nothing about 3000 miles, even i knew that it usually is.. but anyways found out that my first on is free which they didnt tell me (without tire rotation)
::venting:: but the part that got me was that i was 8 days late of getting the free maintenace for the first 45000 miles!! i was like really is there anything that you can do so i could hahaha.. sorry about the useless post but yea ummm.. when do all of you usually do your tire rotation to save these precious tires? 3k or 4k??

Well according to the Manual on our cars -- it says maintenance is every 5k miles. So I have no idea what your dealership is talking about.

Yeah I do an oil change and rotation every 5k as well. My car is just a street car though no racing. I guess it just depends on how hard you drive.

If you are hard on the car or just plan on keeping it for the long run I wouldnt wait to 5000 miles to do an oil change; do it every 2500-3000 miles. I do tire rotations every 4000-5000 miles.
