Now that i see it, it truly is a plug and play since they sell the "harness" separate from the plug and play one. I've been looking for this item for so long, yet just for the shadow of a doubt, can somebody buy it first? lol jk or at least try to find some reviews on this harness thanks for the help

Have you read the thread? The Fields Harness is not plug n play, because you first have to splice the SAFC into it...this thread is talking about a TRULY plug-n-play unit as the link indicates.

how about someone make one for less than 30 bucks. it's ridiculous to pay $100+ for wires.

i dont think its that expensive considering that you wont touch the stock ecu wires and also no labor fees.

What pieces could possibly cost a lot on that harness? From what I see, it's just made up of a bunch of standard copper wires, plastic connectors with contacts. I know "a lot" is subjective, but let's compare manufacturing it with a computer power supply with its cable (the one that plugs into the motherboard). For sure the harness couldn't be more complicated to make than a computer power supply (which costs $25-50 for something sufficient).

Price is determined by supply and demand in addition to cost of materials and labor. Soda and Popcorn costs about $.05 per person to produce, but they charge $4-5 per item, since there are no alternatives. As more people sell this and/or learn to mass produce it cheaply, the price should go lower, but with flashes being the rage, I doubt the demand will ever get high enough to get the price down very far...

I purchased the Boomslang Harness and it's a quality piece. You can also get it prewired for a S-AFC II, if you run one or are planning 2. Also they wired my AVC-R Harness in as well. The connecters fit nice and snug into the ECU and the Factory ECU harness. Perfect fit

I just recevied mine. It is a plug n play. There is an extension that plugs to the SAFC prewired into the ECU harness. Will be installing it next week, but looks like a straight forward jobs.

Kudos to Boomslang, great product. Shipped and received in 2 days
