Kartboy hangers

hey i was just wondering if i should use my kartboy hangers. They rotate freely which is kinda scary but my helix downpipe does rub every once and awhile.

I use them with my full APS exaust. They work great for me; everything stays where its supposed to, no rubbing & rock solid. The placement of the hangers seems to keep everything from rotating or anything.

I was supposed to recieve them free with my order from Gruppe-S, But they were forgot. Which Isn't a big deal because they were a free add on anyhow, So I can't comment on my experience USING them but I can comment on Rattling WITHOUT using them.

I have the Version 1 Downpipe and Catback , Meaning I had nasty rattle and a burnt bumper. What I did is Had the pipe "heated up" by my local exhaust and muffler shop and bent into a position where it wouldn't rub nor come into contact with the bumper. NOTE : THIS WILL SCREW WITH THE LOOK OF THE FINISH ON THE PIPES

use them. it really tightens up the exhaust. once you get all 5 of them on, you will realize that pipe isn't going anywhere.

Man, these things don't play!

I just put on the back 3 (I'll do the other two when I replace my downpipe). The stock ones are hell to get off, but these new Kartboy ones are amazing. My exhaust tip placement is even better than before and it's improved the clearance of the Vishnu catback from anything it would hit. Plus, I can barely move the thing.

Nice work Kartboy!

So far so good...I only heard the rattle about once a week anyway, so we'll see how it goes. However, the bolt it was hitting up against is now further away than it was before, so I have better clearance and stiffer hangers, I doubt it will be a problem.

Are the Kartboy hangers any longer than stock? I have a BR catback and the tip sits much higher now than stock. If the Kartboy hangers are any longer the placement on my car would be spot on.

Yes, they are also very solid pieces unlike the stockers. I have them on my car, the exhaust does not move at all.
