to have more power or more gas money???

I know the evo is not the most gas efficient car at 18 mpg but with all these new turbo kits out it looks like everybody wants one and doesn't care about gas mileage anymore. Is this the case? I'm just curious if the majority of evo owners are willing to keep adding more power with gt35R turbos and 800cc injectors or is 300 whp really enough to play with. I guess it all depends on the person and if it's a daily driver. What i'm getting at is if you would rather have 500 whp and get 10 mpg or 300 whp and 18 mpg (both with nice tunes of course).

You guys get 18mpg on a highway? i got a lex gs 300 and i get the same thing, i would rather drive the evo than the lex, cause i like the power in the evo. What if you take it easy on a highway, can you get a better mileage than 18mpg? thanks.

I get 24-26 on the highway routinely. If the cost of gas is really a concern, you can't really afford a car like this...
