glad to hear you're doing well. i think you are a perfect example because you kept working until you found something. my advice to everyone is do something you want to do, not what everyone else expects you to. there's just this total bull-**** mentality that college is for everyone, and its the only way to a good job, opportunity and security. i can't tell you the number of friends who have massive student loan depts, a BA and can't find a good job (let alone one they might actually like) anywhere. whoa. i'm working myself up. guess i'll just keep doing what i'm doing, proving them all wrong.

Graduated with a B/S (accounting) with a minor in economics and business admin in april 02. I busted my *** in school ever since I was a 1st grader and got done without owing anyone anything. I should start taking MBA classes soon though, but that will cut in to my GT35R fund!

Went to college on scholarship - screwed up - dropped out.
Tried again at another major university - screwed up - dropped out.
Became a Marine - got a clue.
Finished my 5-year tour - got a great job.
Started over in college while working - got my BS in Computer Networking.
Now, I'm 2/3 of the way through an MBA at Johns Hopkins - sick of school.

B.A., M.A. in mathematics + two years of doctoral study in math. I left the Ph.D. program when I realized that it is impossible to be a good husband/father and get a Ph.D. in math at the same time. It demands 200% of your time/energy. So I guess that makes me a Ph.D. dropout.

Hey, I think BIG3_ETR is a manager for McD's and has done it for like 15 years and he has some of the fastest toys on any of the chat boards! Props to the golden arches.

Apparently these cars really are for spoiled high school and college kids. Ruins it for the rest of us.

BS in computer science from a no-named university in Augusta, GA that only cost approximately $1200 (books included) a semester. Lived at home and worked full time while in college == no student loans when I got out.

Been out of school for two years and am now having the time of my life living near the beach!
