i have an electric blue 05 evolution and plan to get rid of the chrome housing of my taillights. Im stuck with MR black housing, jdm evo 7 tails, or paint the housing gun metal instead of flat black. Also other suggestions are welcome. If you guys see another color that would match an electric blue evo, i'll be more than happy to consider.
Also before i get flamed for this, for example; " Your gonna fawk up!!"
I just recently receive a pair of stock 05 evo 8 taillights for $100 to a very cool guy. Got it right away which made me happy doing business with him.

I really like the Evo 7 tails, adding a little JDM always looks good.

 

personally i would put Evo VII's on...red on blue is sex on wheels..IMO!!

This, or do them EB... the darker color won't look as good and will clash with the blue IMO

 

I say you do the Evo 7 tails, I think they look the best on electric blue. Here's a pic of Unowned's evo for example.

 

MAYN!!!! Thos rear bumper are so fawken nice!!! I wanted them but 600 plus shipping is just too much for me right now.
Anyways, red on blue is really nice and clean. I may have to go that route unless anybody here has done the MR blackhousing which might steal me away from the red.

personally i dig the evoVII tails on an EB. the Mr look nice but i like the VIIs more. they look cleaner

 

The mr is nice too......I think this is what im going to do. Do the evo 7 tails on my extra pair, and if i do a good job on taking it apart. i will do my orignal also and do the MR on it.

But keep 'em coming guyz......any other color that would match ????

 

You could try to color match the tails on your extra set. I haven't seen any tails painted electric blue to match the car yet, it might look good. It would definitely be original.

 

why not one light evo 7 and one Mr huh?!

...... ok maybe not i like them both on that color but i would go with the MR thats just me though
