The best way to 320hp reliably?

I don't want to change cams or the TB (maybe I am dreaming). Other than that what did you do to acheive this h.p. figuire 320-340 and maintain drivability without sending up flares to the dealer that say ...MY CAR IS FAR FROM STOCK!! As usual I know there are many ways and decidedly differing hp figuires and opinions about what can be done without invasive work, ie cams etc.

I appreciate the feedback from Ladies and Gentleman who had this goal in mind and were satisfied with the results...here is the project so far.

Your worried about appearing far from stock, yet your dropped and have rims?

320whp is a pipe dream without a turbo back.

intake, al's custom flash, catback , new diverter valve, fuel pump, boost controler. with that 10.5 hotside u should be up around 310-320 wheels with ease. i have a 03 with all thoes mods plus a full 3" turbo back with high flow cat and i hit 300 wheel

The 05's dont have magical powers to make those types of numbers...with intake/catback/tune he'll be lucky to hit 300whp. The rest of the mods listed dont add power, dont forget Al's tune holds boost so you wont need a boost controller unless your looking to increase the boost.

I was thinking...
Cat Back
Down pipe.
ECU.
FPR.
Cam Timing.
Ported Exh Manifold.

P.S. Not worried about hassle with suspension just don't want to announce engine mods too loudly. The dealer here is reasonable, but if you change the turbo, delete the cat, and have an engine compartment that looks like nopi tunervision you could be asking for it, that's what I was thinking anyway.

Yeah, you're dreaming buddy... maybe if you got a... nope, that'll be obvious to the dealer. It won't happen without a TB... my listed mods is doing 272 on a Mustang Dyno and my dealer doesn't care about them so on a dynojet I would guess that would be around 300, but I'm not sure.

I posted the above before your above msg... now I have this to say: TB is a downpipe and catback.

Check out Works, most of their parts are very stealthy. I have Works P2, 269 cams, air filter, 10.5 hotside and my dealer hasn't said a word about it. They don't even notice them. They've replaced my t-case, fixed 5th gear grind, new wheel bearing, and fixed ball joints with those parts.

Works

BR Stage 0 plus a 3" cat-back will put you close but shy of those #'s on an 05. Probably just over 300awhp. The air filter kit is an obvious add on however.

The dealer will never be able to see 264 cams. It can be done with stock piping although boost levels must br brought up and a good flash will be required.

With those mods you'll be close to 320 given you have a custom tune. You dont need cam gears with stock cams. You did say in your first post that you dont want a TB, but now you list catback and downpipe which is 2 of the 3 components in a TB.

you don't need a FPR with your set up at all. cam gears will help a little w/o loosing drivability, but money should be spent elsewhere. What do you mean by ECU? A different one? Im sure you will be fine using the OEM with a flash or an safc. you can get a harness for the safc so you just plug it in and out when needed w/o it being detectable at all. TBE, MBC/EBC or boost flash, if you don't have an 05 get a 10.5 hotside, porting is good, port match the mani with a 10.5 hotside, walbro fuel pump, lower I/C pipe, flash or safc will put you there easy.

Nitrous would be a good option.

I want to get the AMS Cat-Back with their downpipe. It is an 05. I was thinking about a re-flash on the ECU (maybe works), not a standalone or piggyback. I already have the Works Air filter. I don't want to use Works exhaust or Downpipe although the rest of their system looks OK for the 300 package. I am just concerned about the mix and match thing and then using their flash. Who could reliably do a custom flash?
