I posted in the engine forum yesterday but haven't had much luck. Can someone please show post pictures of the stock bov installed. I want to compare it against mine and see if mine is installed properly. I have a feeling that it's not but I don't know how it should be ...thanks

This is an old pic but you can see the MR bov.. the flang connects to the hose in the upper ic pipe.. nipple points towards the passenger side. Not the best pic but you should get the idea

 

thanks a lot. Mine's definitely installed incorrectly. The top hat is facing up instead of sideways.

Do you know if there are any ill-effects of having it installed incorrectly?

 

Not right off.. there has been some people that have not installed it correctly on purpose (saying something about it holds more boost).

I installed mine backwards once but never ran it.. I always take pictures of things now before I take them apart

 

Thanks...the problem is it was installed incorrectly by the dealership.

I know there's a post somewhere discussing the incorrect installation but i can't seem to find it.
