I toke my car to fit a snooper radar detector and a tracking system everything was fine i start up my car and drove for like 5 miles and i stoped at a store still everything was fine until i drove like 10 miles and i get Service Engine Soon light WTF i just got the car its done only 391 miles .. so i read the owner manual i checked my fuel cap everything is fine also the oil level and it sounds fine but i dont know what happend BTW my car is bone stock only i fitted this rader detector. just take it to the dealer and ask them.

 

if all else fails, wire it back to stock and start over. you made it sound like it was the evo's fault.

 

get a code pulled. It's the only way to know for sure. MaYbE P0300???? (it's a problem with some of the u.s. models).

 

I dont think its from the Radar detector that i would get a Engine Service Soon.

Maybe someone else had a same problem.

disconnect the battery and reset the ecu.
