I was thinking about getting cams but i would struggle with funds, like 264 272 for $600, i have friend thats willing to sell me his HKS 264 264 for $400, should i go all out buy the used ones or just wait.

 

well from what everyone says, cams are definately worth it. I have the same exact mods as you except with an intake. After IC pipes, cams are next for me someday.

 

The Game- What power are you putting down to your wheels if you know, and what intake you rocking?

 

From what ive been reading get the 272's. You might get a rough idle, but I'm sure Al can fix that with the dynoflash. Ive heard the 272's give more power. I want to go the cam route, but I need to keep my gas mileage as high as I can.

 

if u can get the cams that cheap then u could try them and just sell them if u dont like them. sounds like a good deal to me.
