I think autometer makes something that is pretty small.

I would like to get one as well. I think I would like to mount it on the steering column though rather than in the HVAC vent. Is there any small cylindrical piece out there that will look clean mounted on the column? I'm not going for the OEM look, but I am going for the really clean look.

I need a shift light too. RPM hits redline too fast.

I don't think I've seen an EVO8 car with the autometer monster gauge with tach and shift light. If anyone did install one and have pictures please post.

Stewart Warner GUS tach is a 52mm digital tach w/shift light. That would go well in a steering column pod. I have one, just waiting to order the pod.

do they make any shift lights with a on/off switch, the purpose being i dont care about seeing a shift light when normal driving, only for autocross. Or is it just as easy to disconnect them when not in use?
