Fastest evo w/o ECU tune?

Like title says, who's got the fastest evo w/o tune?

I heard ecu tune on 05's are detectable by dealer somehow...so I'm not going to tune my ecu at least until my warranty ends. So I'd like to know how far I can go w/o tune? I've seen one 05 MR with intake, tbe, mbc @ 270's whp or something.
Anyone got better number? Please list the mods...
Thanks in advance

I believe 300WHP can be achieved with stock tuning, Intake TBexhaust maybe cams get you over the 300marker.

Without a tune, any mods you are are going to be virtually worthless. You might be lucky enough to get a few horsepower but nowhere near what you would have if it were tuned.

Other than exhaust and intake, most other mods will probably hurt performance if they aren't tuned.

Cams will void his warranty though, and you can't easily yank them out to go to the dealer like an exhaust or intake.

Get some sort of data logging and an SAFC, I think that's what Warrtalon does, and he has great success.

Yeah I thought about either SAFC or UTEC but SAFC needs data logger, new injectors, fuel pumps and UTEC is like $900... ah headache

Is it ok to run cams w/o tune? probably 264's?

Yes cams run fine without a tune.

You don't need injectors, fuel pumps or anything with SAFC. You just need a palm pilot, and some software to log data with.

You can data log in your car for about 170 bucks, all cables and even the palm pilot included (used from say, ebay or amazon.com).

I disagree, I made 305awhp with 272/272 without a tune, or rather, using my previous tune, and my AFR was like 10.0.

Just view my sig for details on whp, mods, and track times. I only have a cat-back, so if you do my mods and a full exhaust, you would be at 300whp on 93oct, if you know how to tune the safc. I went with the safc for the same reason: flashes are detectable, but I can unplug my safc whenever I go to the dealer thanks to the fields harness.

Go to the safc forum to read up on my threads. You can build your pocketlogger for $105, and you don't need a fuel pump or injectors when using the safc. They do allow you to tune more aggressively and run more boost safely, though.

I wouldn't suggest getting cams without a tune. It's a waste of money, and cams DEFINITELY will be noticed and void the warranty. If you do cams, you might as well get a flash...

Do SAFC remember all the settings after it's removed from ECU so when I plug it back in I don't have to do reset it?

I Disagree With You, I Just Had HKS 280/280's With Cam Gears, And It Gave Me 45whp Without Tuning It At All.

The fact that you bought cam gears for your evo automatically makes anything further you say invalid.
