Buschur Deluxe I/C Kit Fittment?

Hi I currently have the Buschur Deluxe intercooler kit with Upper i/c pipe. Now I had to get the mini-battery kit for this pipe and I want to go back to a bigger battery. This mini battery really blows. So my question is - will any upper i/c pipe work with the Buschur Deluxe fmic kit? Can I buy the HKS upper i/c pipe?

I don't know of any upper that will work with it. Br's piping is set up for ONLY his FMIC but, if you get lucky you might be able to find another pipe set that fits. My friend and I had trouble putting the stock upper on the BR kit.

Don't get the Helix it's actually a DOWN GRADE from stock. The stock one is like 63 mm which is about 2 mm smaller than 2 1/2". The Helix is 2 1/4" thats why it works withe the stock battery.

Have you given any thought to relocation to the trunk? If so check out this thread the RELOCATION for the STOCK BATTERY it's pretty tight!

Good Luck Brother!

I'm not sure where you're getting your information, but I've personally measured my Helix IC pipes w/ a caliper and they're around 2 3/8" OD (60mm), which is the same as the stock IC pipe diameter. The lower IC pipe is where the restriction is at, so the Helix eliminates that.

I think any intercooler pipe will work with the Buschur Intercooler. I had the Buschur UIC pipe way before my intercooler and it fit perfect up to my stock intercooler with no fitmest issues at all. Once I bought my intercooler, once again I didnt have to change out or cut anything to make it fit. You could even run your stock UIC piping with that intercooler if you wanted too.

Why Not relocate the regular battery to the trunk?
Summit sells a NHRA legal complete kit for $72...
Look into it.

You should try calling Nisei they just released a relocation kit but, I'm not sure if it comes the wiring though.

Cheers!
