i bet he is n opt runing a cat and maybe not recirculating the bov, that resulting in extra richness when shiffting or letting off.

Is that it?

he's not running a cat, but the BOV is recirculating 100%.

Hey Q,

Did you add the resonator to quiet it down? How did it work out? Remember my car was pretty loud at DGS, and I've ended up running the silencer all the time, which sucks (-~50 WHP on Pruven's dyno ).

I'm looking to get a different muffler, add a resonator, or maybe try the Apexi active tail silencer thingy. All I want is for it to be quieter at idle and low cruise, but if I go WOT I understand I'm at my own peril, lol. Maybe I can check out your car sometime to hear the difference...

Are you really selling your car? Sorry for the OT.

I know im a newbie on this forum but lots of the high horsepower Supra guys use this all the time for drag or roll-on races. It's amazing!
Well I might sound like a newbie when it comes to brake boosting maybe because i've never heard of it untill now?

Instead of saying that it was a cool vid, which it was, you decided to really post a scorcher there. .. sharp as a tennis ball you are.

You lost 50whp from a silencer? Are you talking about the small piece that goes into the end of the exhaust?

hey Fran

was up man...long time no see...yeah i added a megan racing res. and it helps alittle..it makes the sound of the exhuast alot deaper tone than before..it does work as far as lowering the tone...cuase Anjapower car has the same set-up as mine...'cept hes running no cat..and his car is louder...if we both drive by and u'll def. know the difference...

and screw the silencer man...if you lost 50whp thats alot more than what the exhuast gives you itself..whats the point..? just put the stock set-up back in...you wont lose as much HP..yeah your car was kinda loud when we drove it...i say just get a fujitsubo system or something...they have been know to make really quiet system that makes good power as well...hey, we should get together sometime to hang..hehe hopefully your little girl will be ok. w. her daddy away for abit...ttyl.. -Q

yeah theres A LOT eiser way to build boost at idle.....its called ANIT-LAG its what WRC cars use....its keeps the turbine spinng when the car is at idle or revving down....i know the LINK ECU supports it....maybe the AEM....just goto google.com and search for anti-lag
