RHD value

Im just wondering, if i had gonethrew with the RHD conversion on my 03 evo, who here thinks the value would go up if i had turned around to sell it, im not talking about a ghetto rig... im talking about getting it done right. Cost of my doing it is irrelevant.

Like if i Had turned around tommorow to sell a RHD US legal 8, completely stock (even though mine isn't) do you think i could ask for more like 28-30g's

Why would you buy a conversion, when you import one from Japan. If I wanted one thats what I would do. I also feel the money you are going to spend (if money is not an issue) you will never Recoup.

your def not getin what your gonna spend back. If anything i'd expect a loss of $$$ because your ripping the car apart. steering rack, dash, etc... it would be a mess

just out of curiousity why would you want a rhd evo 8 anyway? its harder to drive and youd spend a ton of money on the conversion which by the way youd never recoup. if its for individuality, you got to remember you could just buy a jdm car and have it shipped here. a rhd conversion wouldnt make a jdm car either because youd still be missing a lot of other parts ect.

why does it scream rice, i drove an Aristo the other day, i just love the way rhd is situated, and plus im left handed and use my left hand more prominently than anything else

And i think this is a worthy post considering its not a gone over topic... yes you can buy a rhd evo... and import it

But thats no fun in individualizing it. I happen to like my car, i wouldn't buy another car to have rhd, its not the same i "grew up" w/ this evo over the past year.

I freaking named her... for gods sakes

I dont think its rice at all, if anything i think yellow is rice... i see far far far far far more riced evo's down here than what i have

I have almost everything that i want jdm in my car, im not going to be buying american parts anymore (original ricers) unless i have to.

I'm left handed, and driving a RHD is hard as ****. I know since I've driven a few USPS mail jeeps. Definitely takes some getting used to. Bottom line though, make your car the way you want it, just don't expect to get everything that you put into it back if you sell it.

Why is it rice? Because you're going to put tons of hours, and money into it, and it adds no value, and no performance. You're an idiot if you think an RHD "conversion" is cool. Seriously though, go ahead and do it, if it makes you happy, I won't be the one driving it. I'll be the guy driving on the left side considerably faster then you =p
